need someone who knows campbell and san jose CA!?
For my senior year project I was planning to volunteer at senior retirement home or some-kind place where retired citizens. My community service is a little different. since it has to relate to photography I was planning to visit some senior care center and ask the elderly places (in San Jose & Campbell) they remember in the past and I will be asking if they like to see what the area look like in 2010. I will be taking pictures of the area and if i can find pictures of the place taken before and compare them with pictures I have taken. At the end I will make a book or powerpoint showing before and after pictures of the areas i have taken. My goal is to offer senior citizen who don’t get lots of outside exposure because of any physical limitations and give them the opportunity to see places they remember. If you know any senior care centers in san jose or campbell please give me the address. Also please give me some feed back or suggestions on my project.
There is a care center in San Jose called White Blossom, at 1990 Fruitdale Avenue, that might be worth looking into.
