How do you make a life size sarcophagus?
I want to make a life-size sarcophagus for my history project. i was thinking wood, but i thought it would be too heavy.. does anyone have any ideas of how i would fashion it? I also want to be able to put hinges on it and make it open up, revealing a real mummy that my friend is modeling for me. any help?
Make it out of cardboard. Go to the stores that are selling large appliances and ask them for a carton . If you cant do it that way get smaller in size but not too much smaller and duct tape it together. As far as the hinges are concerned you can make something with thread, yarn or some kind of hinge that would not cost you too much $$. Hope this works for you. Try to get something that does not have too much writing on it and if it does go to your computer and look for pictures of things relating to it print it out and cover the print .
